Funding Resources

“One of the most pressing issues among major cities is the development
of new infrastructure funding models to modernize the ways
that cities fund themselves.”

Brian Bowman, Mayor of Winnipeg Quoted in “From the Ground Up” A Mowat Centre Report Nov 19, 2016

With so many ways to fund infrastructure projects, it can be a massive undertaking to prepare documentation to receive funding only to be rejected and then to recreate the package all over again for another funding source. Now there is a better way.

With the IGNITE Sustainable Communities Program, members enjoy the benefit of having funding sources offer them packages as opposed to asking for funding. With the IGNITE Program, most public infrastructure projects are successfully funded.

Membership brings choice, including choice of vendors, suppliers, contactors, and even funders. All these groups are pre-selected using member criteria and narrowed down to a single resource.  All this is completed by IGNITE on the member’s behalf. No longer does the member need to meet with dozens of vendors and engineers to come to a well-informed solution. The IGNITE Sustainable Communities Program does all the heavy lifting and research to simplify any infrastructure project.
